CONTACT LENSES

Your Eyes Are Unique
Your Vision Care Should Be Too

Your eyes are one of a kind—no two are exactly alike. Some require specialized contact lens designs and materials to achieve optimal vision and comfort. At Kleen Optometry, we’re experienced in fitting lenses for unique visual needs and more challenging cases. If you’ve previously been told that contact lenses aren’t an option for you, we may still be able to find a solution.

The most commonly worn contacts are soft contact lenses in either daily disposable or extended disposable design.  Disposable soft contacts don’t meet all needs.  We also offer Scleral, GP, and Hybrid contacts.

Scleral Lenses

Scleral lenses rest on the sclera (the white of the eye) rather than the cornea. They are ideal for treating irregular corneas, keratoconus, severe dry eye, and eyes affected by injury or surgery.

GP Contacts

GP (gas permeable) lenses allow oxygen to pass through and keep the eye healthy. Their firm structure helps them maintain a precise shape on the eye, delivering exceptionally sharp, stable vision—often clearer than soft lenses. GP lenses are also highly effective for more complex prescriptions, including higher levels of astigmatism.

Hybrid Contact Lenses

Hybrid lenses combine the best of both worlds—clear vision and all-day comfort. They feature a rigid gas permeable (GP) center for crisp optics, surrounded by a soft outer skirt for a more comfortable fit. This unique design provides sharper vision than traditional soft lenses while maintaining the comfort patients expect.
